Why do I have to submit a photo of my government-issued ID?

We ask all customers ordering treatment from Facet to submit a photo of their government-issued ID for two reasons.

The first reason is that we take your healthcare seriously, and our doctors need to know who they’re treating in order to issue a medically responsible diagnosis.

The second reason is that we also take all regulations very seriously, and state regulations require we verify identification before a doctor can treat and issue a prescription.

That said, we understand you may be concerned about your security. Rest assured, Facet uses industry-standard security to keep your private information safe and secure. This includes the consultation information you provide, as well as the pictures or videos you submit for it.
